Years of history and education
Hallmark Academy was founded in 2004 by Professor Cheta Williams and Mrs. Patience Williams, two passionate educators with a shared vision—to create a school that nurtures the minds and character of young learners while preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world.
The school began modestly in Omoku, Rivers State, Nigeria, with a handful of pupils and a deep commitment to academic excellence, moral values, and personal growth. From its earliest days, Hallmark Academy stood out for its innovative approach to teaching—placing equal importance on intellectual development, creativity, and discipline.
Over the years, the Academy has grown into one of the leading private schools in Rivers State, offering a complete educational journey from Pre-Nursery and Nursery to Primary and Secondary levels. Guided by its motto, “Building the Independent Child,” the school emphasizes confidence, curiosity, and character as essential tools for lifelong success.
With a reputation for quality education, dedicated teachers, and modern facilities, Hallmark Academy has produced graduates who excel both in academics and leadership. Many of its students continue their studies at top universities across Nigeria and abroad—proof of the school’s unwavering standard of excellence.
Today, more than 20 years since its founding, Hallmark Academy continues to uphold the vision of its founders: to provide holistic education that balances knowledge, skill, and moral integrity, shaping children into responsible citizens and future leaders.
